Kim Cangelose has over 30 years of financial industry experience and has specialized in retirement plan services for nearly her entire career. Prior to joining PPSAFI, she served as director of the retirement plan product and retirement plan sales division at Waddell & Reed, Inc. Kim also served as an Advanced Investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefit Security Administration (“EBSA”). While at the DOL, she helped develop new regulations, conducted thorough plan investigations, and provided retirement, health and welfare benefits plan education for workers, plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and service providers. Kim is also a renowned speaker in the regulatory areas of ERISA and Department of Labor methodology.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of South Florida, a master’s degree in human resource management from the Keller School of Management, and successfully completed the pension plan consulting program through The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator, a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant and a Cash Balance Consultant. She is an active volunteer in her community and industry, focusing her contributions on providing mentorship and support for organizations and committees supporting women in finance.
As a retirement consultant with PPSAFI, Kim brings her vast experience to our retirement plan clients. She will assist and support our clients and our Team with complex compliance issues, advanced regulatory changes and provide our retirement sales team with additional support.
Gina joined Priority Pension Services in 2015 assuming the role of Client Relations Manager. She has been instrumental in helping PPSAFI grow and expand its service offerings as well as advancing PPSAFI’s presence in the tri-state area and beyond. Gina’s current role is Business Relationship Manager/Vice President of PPSAFI.
Gina is an independent Life and Health Insurance Agent licensed in the State of New York and works with individuals and families, as well as employers of all sizes, implementing both individual and group insurance plans.
Gina’s communication and organizational skills developed over the 12 years she enjoyed a successful career as a Paralegal in New York and New Jersey. Building on her expertise, she joined a worldwide digital media content provider as their Global Collections Manager. Gina co-authored the company Collection Policy and was responsible for collections both domestically and abroad for company sales that increased from $5 mil to $41 mil annually during her 5-year tenure.

Mehnaz Chowdhury started out her career at PPSAFI as an intern after graduating with a B.S. in Applied Math & Statistics and Economics degree from Stony Brook University in 2012. Mehnaz has over 7 years of industry experience, including designing and implementing defined contribution and defined benefit plans, annual non-discrimination testing, contribution calculations, preparation of valuation reporting, tax reporting and plan termination. Prior to rejoining PPSAFI in 2020, Mehnaz was a Plan Consultant for Danziger & Markhoff. In addition to her experience in corporate retirement consulting, Mehnaz also has a role as the Retirement Benefits Analyst at NYU Langone Hospital. Mehnaz's strengths are establishing and maintaining great client relationships, analyzing data and performing actuarial calculations and verifying the compliance of retirement plans.
Teresa Piscitelli is an experienced, ASPPA - RPF Certified, Plan Administrator with extensive background in all aspects of plan administration and design. She started her pension career at The Vanguard Group in Scottsdale, AZ as an Investor Information Associate. Shortly after she was selected to move to Small Business Services where she obtained extensive knowledge of SEP, SIMPLE, Profit Sharing/401(K), Money Purchase, and 403(b) plans. Due to her outstanding performance, keen focus on customer service, and integrity she was chosen to be a key part of a company wide quality improvement initiative-Vanguard Unmatchable Excellence.
In 2010, Teresa furthered her career when she joined Alan T. Nahoum Inc. in White Plains, NY as a Plan Designer and Administrator. She facilitated client meetings and provided retirement plan options for prospective clients. Plan administration included eligibility, contribution calculations, non-discrimination testing, loans, RMD’s, termination packages, assisting clients with IRS inquiries and preparing submissions under VCP (Voluntary Compliance Program), plan amendments, preparing Safe Harbor Notices, completing annual plan valuations and filing Form 5500 with appropriate schedules. In 2011 she began to administer Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans.
She is an articulate communicator and avidly researches new plan legislation to ensure plans are in compliance. Keeping her clients aware of the benefits of the latest legislation under the SECURE Act and CARES Act has been a top priority. She uniquely uses levity and professionalism to demystify complicated plan jargon making it easier for plan sponsors.

In 2006, Dawn founded Priority Pension Services, Inc. (PPSAFI) and over the last decade, has leveraged her success by expanding the firm and its services to become a full service employer/employee benefits consulting firm. New offerings include many actuarial and insurance plan options to assist in providing clients with additional security for their future.
Dawn has decades of experience in the Actuarial and TPA field. Early in her career, Dawn has provided consulting services to a number of large consulting firms including Mutual of America, Deloitte & Touche, Comprehensive Consulting Group, ERP Actuaries and Consultants and Associated Pension Services. In addition, she provided consulting services for both defined benefit and defined contribution, and managed a team of consultants in the defined contribution arena. Dawn's diverse retirement plan knowledge was utilized to develop and manage new sales channels for expanding additional centers of influence within the 401(k) and Qualified Plan Market.
Dawn is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). The AIF® is a special financial designation awarded by FI360 that represents a thorough knowledge of and ability to apply the fiduciary practices. The AIF training includes instruction in practices that cover pertinent legislation and best practices. In 2006, the AIF® was named one of the Ten Most Wanted designations by Financial Planning Magazine.
The Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) credential was developed by some of the nation’s leading advisors and retirement plan experts. It demonstrates knowledge, expertise and commitment to working with retirement plans. Plan advisors who earn their CPFA demonstrate the expertise required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities.
Dawn is also a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and has passed a number of actuarial exams sponsored by the Society of Actuaries.
Dawn’s attention to detail and dedication to personal service is why she remains the lead consultant for the majority of PPSAFI clients. Dawn's unique expertise and talent is designing retirement plans that offer tax savings advantages, such as Defined Benefit and Cash Balance Plans. She also specializes in retirement plan compliance and plan sponsor/fiduciary education and support.
Dawn and her team now offer something unique, especially in regard to plan compliance. Recent SCOTUS rulings have put fiduciaries at risk. Recognizing the confusion caused by improper advisory and the damage caused to businesses from DOL Audits and IRS fines, Dawn offers her expertise and PPSAFI services to protect companies and their employees.
